Made for how retail works.

Keep variants connected.

Review styles, sizes, and colors in the new catalog.

Match existing products.

Account for records already in your ecommerce store.

Check each location.

Review opening quantities before the final transfer.

Map the merchandise your staff distinguish

A style is not the same as a sellable size and color. Keep its parent identifier and every valid variant combination in the mapping.

  • Parent style, option names and the variants that actually exist
  • Individual SKUs, barcodes and stock at each store
  • Season, supplier/style reference and markdown rules
  • Special orders, deposits and online product links

An illustrative acceptance case

An illustrative jacket is available in black S/M/L and navy M/L. A rectangular size/color grid must not invent a navy small. Compare five sellable variants, their identifiers and stock independently.

Test the retail outcome

Check a style with a markdown, a missing size and an existing online product. Ask staff to find and scan two similar variants, then compare stock by store. Keep seasonal pricing separate from merely copying the base price.

Separate data work from the wider launch

Identify the source POS edition, destination, stores and retained website or apps. Confirm the supported data map before booking. Staff training, hardware, payment setup and any ongoing connection have separate implementation responsibilities.

Review the migration test plan and cutover plan with your store approver. Record unsupported relationships before deciding whether to import, transform or archive them.

Migration scope and responsibilities

The standard migration fee is $2,999 USD for the confirmed scope.

Access to both systems

You must provide Sqquid full authorized access to both systems and be able to access your own data. Arrange access through an agreed secure process. Do not put passwords, API tokens, payment information or customer export files into the general enquiry form.

Source data quality

Sqquid is not responsible for migration errors caused by poor data supplied by the customer. Source issues, proposed corrections and exclusions need to be recorded before the transfer is accepted.

Earlier work and guarantee limits

Sqquid does not guarantee a migration that started before Sqquid was hired. Any guarantee is limited to the data migration work performed by Sqquid and expires on the launch date. Record the agreed launch milestone in the written scope; do not assume post-launch guarantee coverage.

Vendor charges and separate work

Vendor charges are passed to the customer in addition to the confirmed migration fee. POS implementation, hardware, payment setup, staff training and ongoing integrations have separate responsibilities and scope. A Sqquid software subscription is not required for the migration service.
