What the data plan needs to establish

An active product needs a clear identity, category, supplier reference, and destination field for each value you intend to keep.

Choose active, inactive, discounted, and unusually structured items for the test. Agree whether archived items should remain available for reports or appear as sellable products.

Map the details that matter

  • Source product ID → retained crosswalk
  • Product name and category → approved destination fields
  • Active status → agreed selling availability
  • Supplier reference → vendor field or retained reference

An illustrative check

An illustrative catalog has 500 active styles and 40 archived styles. The scope should say whether 540 records are retained, 500 are sellable, or the archive follows a different path.

How we review this dataset

Provide a representative sample through an agreed secure process after the initial assessment. We compare the available fields with the destination requirements and document the accepted treatment.

The test and handover should show expected records, actual results, unresolved exceptions, and the retailer’s approval. Inclusion is confirmed before booking.
