Resolve unmatched locations before the final import.
Connect each store and warehouse to the right destination.
Plan how sales, returns, and transfers are handled.
Compare quantities and document exceptions.
Inventory needs an agreed meaning, a location map, and a final snapshot time. On hand, available, reserved, and in transit may represent different quantities.
List every source store and warehouse, match each to a destination, and decide how trading after the snapshot will be recorded. Confirm whether the selected import replaces or adds quantities.
Illustrative check: Store A has 12 units and Store B has 7. If 2 units sell in Store A after the snapshot, the team must account for that change rather than accept a combined total of 19 as sufficient.
Provide a representative sample through an agreed secure process after the initial assessment. We compare the available fields with the destination requirements and document the accepted treatment.
The test and handover should show expected records, actual results, unresolved exceptions, and the retailer’s approval. Inclusion is confirmed before booking.
